CROP CIRCLES - ( or CRIMINAL DAMAGE to use its real name!)

Dorset Police recently received a report of crop circles in the Cerne Abbas area.  Lets be very clear, Crop Circles are CRIMINAL DAMAGE, pure and simple.

The Circles have a direct impact on a farmers livelihood. Not only the actual damage, ( in this case several hundred pounds), but also when the offenders gain access to their field of choice.

Dorset Police Rural Crime Team recently put out the following appeal for information to the North Dorset area:

On Thursday 10 July 2025 it was discovered that damage had been caused to crops in a field in the Cerne Abbas area.

Police Constable Kate Schofield, of the Rural Crime Team, said: “This act of criminal damage has had a significant financial impact on the farmer.

“I would ask anyone who may have information about the damage caused to please come forward and contact Dorset Police.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact Dorset Police at www.dorset.police.uk or by calling 101, quoting occurrence number 55250100180. Alternatively, independent charity Crimestoppers can be contacted anonymously online at Crimestoppers-uk.org or by calling Freephone 0800 555 111.
